Book is: Brians Winter Book by: Gary Paulsen PowerPoint By: Chad Rollheiser

Brian is the main character. He is smart because he made his own bow and arrow. He also knows how to make clothes. He is very brave. He’s brave because he killed a moose and had many bears attack him. He can be very worried at times too. He's worried about bears trying to take his meat and food. Brians relationship with the animals is that he thinks there cool. He also has a lot of animal friends like a skunk that named.

I visualized a moose that Brian killed. It was huge with brown fur. It had a long head with two ears straight up in the air. It was laying on Brian's stomach. It was very big. In addition I visualized a ferocious bear that attacked Brian.

This book was about a boy named Brian trying to survive in the winter. He was still in the Canadian wilderness. He got a survival pack so he could hunt better. He got the survival pack from the plane that had gotten blown out of the water slightly from high winds. He finally got rescued at the end of the book. One of his problems was trying to Walk in deep snow. His way to fix that was he made a pare of snow shoes. Another problem was trying to protect him self against predators. He fixed this by making a war bow and a war spear.

I liked the book Brian's Winter because it has a lot of action. It also had a lot of cliffhangers and it was very realistic.
