Jews were jealous, accused St. Stephen of blasphemy (telling lies about God) St. Stephen was not afraid, he spoke the truth! He saw heaven open and our Lord Jesus standing at the right side of God the Father St. Stephen asked God to forgive them "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit" ST. STEPHEN First Martyr
Then he fell on his knees and cried out, "Lord, do not hold this sin against them." When he had said this, he fell asleep. Acts 7:60
