Team Fostering’s Job Team Fostering help young children all ages to have a happy life. The aim is to make you feel safe and comfortable with your foster carers.

What does Team do? Team does lots of days out and once a month you could get a certificate from Team to say well done for something, it could be well done for working hard at school or well done for making new friends.

Foster Carers Team has lots of foster carers in North East and Sheffield. There are lots of carers in North East and Sheffield but all they want to do is make you happy and safe. When children come into care they all have lots of questions that they want answered. You should feel relaxed.

Questions that children ask Why am I in care? Was it my fault? What could have I done to help? What happens now? Will I see my family again? How often will I see my family? Can I help myself to food and drinks? Can I leave the room when I want? Can I go to the toilet in the night? They are people around you to help you, so don’t feel alone!!

Foster carers Foster carers are normal people who have a normal life so don’t feel different just because you are not living at home with the people who you love. If anything you are better and stronger because you will be being brave with what is happening.
