Understanding Phone Features ButtonFunctionDescription Scroll Bar – or – Navigation Button Enables you to scroll through text and select features displayed on the LCD screen Message ButtonProvides access to the Message system Directory ButtonProvides access to system directories (Corporate Directory, Missed, Placed & Received Calls) Settings ButtonProvides access to phone settings; contrast, ring sound, network configuration, and status information Services ButtonProvides access to any available phone services Help ButtonDisplays help on your LCD screen for a phone button or function Volume ControlAdjusts volume on handset, headset, or speaker and ring volume Mute ButtonMutes handset, headset or speaker Speaker PhoneEnables speaker phone HeadsetActivate headset *

Soft Keys Soft Keys allow user to access additional phone features. Available keys will vary depending on if you are on an active call or the phone is idle. Frequently Used Keys Redial New Call CFwdALL (Call Forward) Hold End Call Trnsfer (Transfer) Resume Confrn (Conference) Join Save Exit

Software Based Version of Phone

The ? Button Press the ? button and then press any key to display help for that key Press the ? button twice and quickly to display information about the selected feature Press the ? button twice quickly during an active call to view network statistics about the active call

Volume Adjustment With phone on hook, the VOLUME button increases or decreases the ringer volume With receiver off hook, the VOLUME button adjusts audio volume Press the up or down VOLUME button Press the SAVE soft key With the Speaker off hook, the VOLUME button adjusts the speaker audio volume. The VOLUME button adjusts the volume only for the currently active voice receiver unless the adjustment is saved

Selecting Ringer Type To change the ring sound: Press the settings button Select User Preferences Select Rings Select Default Ring Scroll through the ring types and press the Play soft key to hear the selected ring type When you find the ring you want, press the Select soft key Press the SAVE soft key to save the selection

Adjusting Contrast You can also change the LCD contrast while in the Settings menu: Press the Settings button Select User Preferences Select Contrast Press the UP or DOWN soft key to set the desired intensity of the display. Press the SAVE soft key to save the settings and press the EXIT soft key to exit the Settings menu Or press the Cancel soft key to cancel the changes

Placing or Answering a Call You can place or answer a call many different ways! Lift the handset, or Press the HEADSET button, OR Press the SPEAKER button, or Press the NewCall soft key, or You have the option of dialing before or after going off hook Begin dialing, when finished press the Dial softkey Press the LINE button, or

Hold PLACE A CALL ON HOLD? Press the Hold soft key on your phone. You can answer other calls while a call is on hold. If you have multiple calls on hold, use the Navigation button (white up and down arrows) to select the correct call Resume a Call? Use the Navigation button to select the call on hold and choose the associated line button to activate the call – or – click the Resume soft key Note: Call Waiting will only have the soft key Answer

Mute and Speaker Mute a Call? Mute a call by pressing the mute button (white microphone icon) Press the button again to take the call off of mute Use the Speakerphone? –Press speakerphone icon to activate the speaker (white speaker icon) –Press the speakerphone icon again to end (disconnect) call or the EndCall soft key

Call Park Call Park allows you to put a call on HOLD, and retrieve the call from a different phone. Select the More button Select Park Remember the number on the phone display (this is where the call is parked) From any phone, enter the number to retrieve the call Range of digits are: 101XX-109XX 111XX-119XX

Transferring a Call To transfer a call to another phone: During a call, press the Transfr soft key Dial the number to which you want to transfer the call Wait until the user answers and announce the call To transfer directly to voic dial * then dial the extension then hang up If the user does not want to receive the call or is not available: Press the End Call soft key to end the current call Make sure the original call is highlighted Press the Resume soft key Now you have the original call back and can make another choice

Ad Hoc Conferencing To place a conference call: During a call, press the more soft key and then press the Confrn soft key. This will put an active call on hold Place a call to another person When the call connects, press the Confrn soft key again You can repeat above steps to add up to 7 callers Use Conference List to view participants The conference leader can remove participants Press the More softkey Press the ConfList button Use the scroll button to highlight a user Press the Remove button to remove that participant

Forwarding Your Phone On your phone: 1.Press the CFwdAll soft key 2.Enter the number where calls will be forwarded –(press ‘messages’ to send calls to voic ) 3.To cancel forwarding, press the CFwdAll soft key again 4.The phone will display where the phone is forwarded

Viewing and Dialing Calls You can view and dial received, placed, and missed calls: 1. Press the DIRECTORIES button 2. Select a directory 3. Highlight a number For internal calls: Select the Dial softkey For external calls: Select the Edit Dial soft key and add the ‘9’ If the call is long distance, add ’91’ Select the Dial soft key

Personal Directory Find phone numbers for other associates using the online directory 1. Press the DIRECTORIES button 2. Select Personal Directory 3. Enter your UserID and PIN to login and press Submit 4. Choose Personal Address Book and Select 5. Scroll through the users and press the Dial soft key to call the number

Personal Directory To search for an entry, enter search criteria and press Submit, or just press Submit without entering any information 1. If you have no entries, you will get a message. You can add a new entry using the phone, or use the webpage, which we will show next 2. If you have an entry, it will display 3. Highlight the entry and press the Select soft key 4. It will display the information for that entry 5. Scroll through the entry and press the Dial soft key to call the number

Corporate Directory Find phone numbers for other associates using the online directory 1. Press the DIRECTORIES button 2. Select Corporate Directory 3. Enter the name of the user, either by first or last name or enter an extension 4. Press the Search soft key 5. Scroll through the users and press the Dial soft key to call the number

Voic Before you can listen to voic s, you must first configure your mailbox: Press messages button from your IP phone Default password is Follow the prompts to record a recorded name and personal greetings Change your password Press # to complete

Passwords Must be at least 4 characters Cannot be sequential numbers Cannot be repetitive digits Cannot be the extension number

Greetings Users can have up to 5 greetings: Standard Internal Busy Closed Alternate (Alternate is active until you disable it)

Checking Your Voic To set up or access voice mail: Press MESSAGE button and follow the voice instructions. OR You can access your voic offsite by dialing your number and press * to sign in. ID is your extension number

Voic Notification There are multiple types of voic notification: 1.Message waiting indicator on handset 2.Flashing envelope next to the line appearance 3.‘You have Voic ’ will appear at the bottom of your screen

Key Map While listening to a message 1 – Restart message 2 – Save message 3 – Delete message 4 – Slow playback 5 – Change volume 6 – Fast playback 7 – Rewind message 8 – Pause/Resume 9 – Fast-forward # – Fast-forward to end

Key Map After listening to a message 1 – Repeat message – also replays message summary 2 – Save message 3 – Delete message 4 – Reply to subscriber 5 – Forward message 6 – Save Message as New 7 – Replay message 9 – Message summary # - Skip message

Forwarding a Message To forward a voice message you have received, simply: Press “5”after the message Enter the Name of the person to whom you would like to forward the message Or, Press “##” and enter the extension of the person to whom you would like to forward the message

CCM User Page - Device Click User Options  Device Make sure Name begins with SEP, not NONE You can adjust settings

CCM User Page – Line Settings Choose Line Settings You can adjust Call Forwarding properties

CCM User Page – Speed Dials Choose Speed Dials You can add Speed Dial numbers Add them as if you were dialing from your phone. i.e. enter the ‘91’ before Long Distance numbers The first entry will appear on your phone. The rest must be dialed by using the AbrDial softkey. For example, if you want to dial the number associated to the second speed dial setting, press 2 and AbrDial.

Personal Address Book Choose User Options  Personal Address Book Click Add New

Personal Address Book Enter information and click Save Make sure to enter phone number as if you were dialing from your phone: i.e. Enter the 91 before Long Distance numbers

Change PIN Choose User Options  User Settings Enter your current PIN Enter your New PIN Click Save
