TRACK - TRANSNATIONAL ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF WORK EXPERIENCE IN FOREIGN COMPANIES 2012-IT-1-LEO CuP: G92F Giovanni Tonutti - Direzione centrale lavoro, formazione, commercio e pari opportunità

Wp 4 start : 1° July 2013 Wp 4 end : 30° November 2013 outcome expected: Assessment of professional competencies: Guidelines for the HOSTING COMPANIES (a document defining the procedures to be applied by the foreign companies, hosting the internship, to assess and declare the professional competences acquired by the worker) WP 5 start : 1 st July 2013 WP 5 ebd : 30 th May 2014 outcome expected: Professional competence standard reference and on-line application for printing new competencies acquired on Europass Giovanni Tonutti - Direzione centrale lavoro, formazione, commercio e pari opportunità

Things to do: 1st step - receive the WP3 research report by KCH - illustrate the report to some guest companies in each country and collect a feed back with a focus group meeting (Regione Valle d’Aosta will develop a draft for a standard presentation of the report to be used in the meetings, and will share it with all partners) Giovanni Tonutti - Direzione centrale lavoro, formazione, commercio e pari opportunità

Things to do: 1st step con’t - if suitable (not compulsory) each country can organize a public meeting aimed to show and explain the KCH report to aompanies and stakeholders - the meeting can be an occasion to invite companies to take part in the project, participating actively in the focus groups Giovanni Tonutti - Direzione centrale lavoro, formazione, commercio e pari opportunità

Things to do: 2nd step - identify (NOW!!!!!) two sectors of common interest to which the focus groups will refer to while developing the guidelines - each partner has to identify one company for each sector available to accept the role of “assessment center”, as depicted in the project Giovanni Tonutti - Direzione centrale lavoro, formazione, commercio e pari opportunità

Things to do: 3rd step - organize the focus group(s) inviting companies that host foreign workers and trainees (each partner is expected to organize 2 focus groups) How to develop a focus group, who have we to involve? - 2 or 4 HR managers / Entrepreneurs - 3 customers representative of training policy maker authorities - 3 trainees with experiences abroad Giovanni Tonutti - Direzione centrale lavoro, formazione, commercio e pari opportunità

Introduce the guidelines document and discuss it, developing a SWOT analysis of the document, i.e.: - what is good - what is weak - the threats about the company they’re working in - the opportunities related to the company they’re working in - other suggestions Giovanni Tonutti - Direzione centrale lavoro, formazione, commercio e pari opportunità Things to do: 3rd step con’t What do we have to discuss during the focus group(s)?

Things to do: 3rd step con’t - for every focus group, the partner will send to the WP coordinator (Regione Valle d’Aosta) the minutes of the meeting with the SWOT scheme - the Wp coordinator will make a synthesis of the reports sent by all the partners, working out a draft of the WP report -- the partners will check and approve the WP report Giovanni Tonutti - Direzione centrale lavoro, formazione, commercio e pari opportunità

Proposal for the index of the guidelines - a scheme of the assessment process - a description of the assessment process step by step - a “quick guide” to assessment to be given to trainees and workers - a list of testing methods and tools that can be used - the format of documents to be used to formalize the the assessment (reference to the WP5) - a list of the economic sectors in which the certificate will have validity Giovanni Tonutti - Direzione centrale lavoro, formazione, commercio e pari opportunità
