WORK STATUS REPORT (from to ) 1 ASHWINI KUMARI AS EQUIPMENT TECHNOLOGIST SYSTEMS LAB CeNSE

 Working on Piezoelectric sensor along with swagata. 2 CURRENTLY ON GOING WORK What is piezo ? Piezo" means pressure electricity. It is the property of certain crystalline substances to generate electrical charges on the application of mechanical stress. Conversely, if the crystal is placed in an electric field, it will experience a mechanical strain. Applications  Ultrasonic cleaners  Piezoelectric actuators/translators  Accelerometers

TESTS CARRIED OUT 3  Testing of two piezo sensor mounted on a flexi rubber tube back to back with Pressure using sphygmomanometer.  Checking the above for different types of waves.  Testing of piezo’s by applying water to the tube and making p1 as transmitter and p2 as receiver, frequency is varied and VPP is set constant.  Frequency range 20Hz to 10KHz and VPP= 5VPP.  Measuring the current through the piezo’s.  Measuring the phase difference of the P1 and P2.  Testing the above with different water levels.

TESTS CARRIED OUT 4

DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES  Assisting summer intern students.  To follow up with the vendors as per our lab requirements.  Learning PCB design software.  Planning for assembly of Electronics to make 25 Nos. of Envirobat version0.
