PIPED SUPPLY OF BIO-GAS TO RURAL HOUSE HOLDS THROUGH COMMUNITY BIO-GAS UNIT AT VILLAGE: MISHRAWALLIA BLOCK: BERUARBARI DISTT: BALLIA,U.P. SPONSORED BY UNICEF,NEW DELHI NODAL AGENCY BIO-ENERGY MISSION DEPT. OF PLANNING, GOVT OF U.P. ( FEB. 2010)

SALIENT FEATURES It is a modular unit. Optimal community size plant: 100 m 3 capacity. Average Bio-gas production after 4-5 hours duration : m3 Suitable for families. All type of agro waste can be consumed. Presently we are using cow dunk (20%) and other agro-horticulture/other degradable waste what so ever available in the village except mud.

Weekly feeding :1875 kg agro waste. Bio-gas production is almost similar in every season. Moisture, H 2 S &Co 2 (major part) are scrubbed. Easier maintenance While burning, the pressure is standard & equal at each user point. Minimum chances of leakage. Use-ful life of project is approximate 20 year.

It helps environment &help also in the cleanliness of village. Bio-gas in the Cylindersis stored at 300 psi pressure. It may be used for domestic power generation. Farmers/ users are transporting bio-gas through bio-gas balloon for their domestic/ agricultural uses.
