JespersenMay2011 Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in a Nordic Life Science Perspective There is an international consensus on the necessity of ESD at all educational levels and in NOVA’s strategy the visions are expressed. The semiar will focus on how we address the challenge of implementing ESD in our activities What does sustainability mean to the NOVA institutions, how do we deal with it, and how can education programmes within this subject contribute to development and perhaps increase recruitment of students in life sciences? The program will include speakers covering academic, industries’, and students’ views on ESD.
