Objectives The State of Ohio is engaged in multiple initiatives with shared goals and common strategies designed to rebalance and improve the Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS) system. This presentation will outline characteristics of high-performing LTSS systems; and Describe how state initiatives align with high performing LTSS systems.

Long Term Services & Supports The need for Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS) will continue to grow. The majority of supports are provided by unpaid caregivers. A broad range of supportive services are needed by individuals of all ages. LTSS may involve but are distinct from medical care.
