4 What is a difficult BOSS?  Micro-Manage  Sexually Harass Employees  Break Promises  Don’t Communicate Well  Threaten Punishment  Don’t Appreciate Employees  Don’t Provide Adequate Training

5 Ways to get along with your difficult Boss  Arrange to meet with your supervisor to find out what is expected from you, and talk about how you can meet those expectations  Keep a detailed written record of any problematic interactions

6 Ways to get along with your difficult Boss  If you’re cursed at, threatened, physically or sexually harassed, or being treated abusively, take written records of the event to your company’s personnel department and your boss’s manager  Don’t blow up, Losing control makes you look bad

7 Ways to get along with your difficult Boss  Talk to your boss about the specific behavior in question and explain how it makes you feel  Talk to someone you trust outside the workplace.
