There will be deceptions and scoffers. –Matt. 24:4-5 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. –2 Peter 3:3-4 First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.”

There will be deceptions and scoffers. –Matt. 24:4-5; 2 Peter 3:3-4 Jesus will return. –Matt. 24:30-31 “At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.” –Revelation 19!

There will be deceptions and scoffers. Jesus will return. –Matt. 24:30-31; Revelation 19! No one knows the day or time. –Matt. 24:36 “No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” –1 Thess. 5:1-2 “Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.” –2 Peter 3:10a “But the day of the Lord will come like a thief.”

Keep Watch –Matt. 24:42-44 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.”

Keep Watch ( Matt. 24:42-44) Stand Firm –1 Cor. 15:58 “Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”

To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.

27 Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, 28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

1.I will put my faith in Jesus for the salvation of my soul. 2.I believe that the course of my life now has great implications on the condition of my eternity. 3.I will "keep watch" of my life, to be prepared and confident at Christ's return. 4.I will live each day, making the most of every opportunity, for God's glory.
