The DutchGrid Platform Collaboration of projects from –Computer Science, HEP and service providers Participating and supported projects –Virtual Laboratory (national, follow-up) –Computer Science distributed cluster computer DAS-2 (national, 2002–) –EU DataGrid –EU DataTAG –D0 Grid Coordination is primary goal → resource sharing between different projects

Current resources for LHC Grid Dedicated resources for (Data)Grid –180 CPUs (PIII-1GHz) at NIKHEF –~ 20 TByte at SARA (national HPC service provider) –2x 1Gbit/s via SURFnet to Géant –experimental 2.5 Gbit/s to StarLIGHT Available additional resources –400 CPUs (PIII-1GHz) from University CS departments (DAS-2) Development and support –5 full-time staff at NIKHEF, ~2 fte at SARA more expertise at UvA (in DataTAG) and CS depts
