 This power point is made by Sanel, Diantae, and Colby.

 The Tlingit tribe lived in the North West Pacific  They Built Villages near the water to make hunting and trading easier.

 The Tlingit tribe slept in very large houses made out of wood.  The Tlingit houses were made out of different types of wood.

 Shellfish, whales, seals, they gathered berries and fern roots, they hunted geese, deer, elks, bears, and salmon.  Everything was dried out or cooked except for the fern roots and berries.

 They wore clothing out of bark.  When it is winter woman wore longer deer skin dresses and men wore Athabasken style pants with moccasins attached.

 Their transportation is by canoes that were over 60 feet long sometimes

 Baskets, carving arts, totem poles, and chilkat robes.  Spruce trees and cedar trees.

 Tlingit children go to school and play around.  People speak English but some people speak their Tlingit language.  Otter skin turbans were worn at ceremonies and other occasions.
