QF Manifold Harness Test

To test the cable: 1) Disconnect the cables from the L5000Plus/XL & Manifold 2) On crimped terminal end side check resistances between RED and WHITE = approx 75K (Resistance Test #1) WHITE and BLACK = Approx 19K (Resistance Test #2) 3) Check transistor (Put meter on continuity test (this is ohms with sounder mode) RED meter probe to WHITE CRIMPED SIDE i) Collector Base Test- place the BLACK probe on the WHITE cable MOLEX side. You should read about 500ohms to 1K ohms (or.63 volts if meter reads out in voltage). ii) Emitter Base Test - move the Black probe cable to the BLACK cable on the MOLEX side. You should read about 500ohms to 1K ohms(or.63 volts if meter reads out in voltage). 4) Emitter Collector Test - Check resistance between white and black on molex connector - Should read around 3.3 Mohm (or OL).
