Purposes of This Session  understanding the No-Show policy  consequences of a No-Show  appropriate actions for a No-Show

What if I miss an interview?  no show policy will be enforced  you will receive an notifying you of the missed interview  the will contain instructions on resolving the no show issue  you MUST respond within 3 business days of receiving the or your interviewing privileges will be suspended immediately until further notice  clarify any issues with the Help Desk

No Show Policy  respond to with explanation to Undergraduate Career Services as to why you missed the interview  attach an apology and explanation to the recruiter  both must be professionally written with good grammar and no typos  support your explanation with any required documentation, i.e. health services proof, receipt for mechanical work, funeral notice, etc.

Response to No Show  within 3 business days of receiving your response, Career Services will send you an with your no show status materials in review  privileges still in force materials unacceptable  one business day to correct the problem  final resolution of no show within 5 working days of material review no show excused no show noted with privilege restrictions no show unexcused with loss of privileges  3 business days for student appeal to final resolution decision

Permanent Suspension of Interviewing Privileges  the following may result in permanent loss of interviewing privileges blatant disregard for policies and practices rude and unprofessional interview behavior failure to respond to no show notice and complete policy requirements missing a scheduled interview a second time (receiving a 2nd no show notification)

Lack of professionalism by No Show  reflects badly on the reputation of Indiana University Kelley School of Business Undergraduate Career Services faculty students  employers talk among themselves  competitive interviews eliminates student colleagues from possible slot

What if an emergency arises?  make sure it is a true emergency  call the Help Desk at once to notify staff of your situation  follow up with to  check your for no show notification
