Respect in the Hallway Do Use respectful language Speak quietly Keep hands, feet, lips, objects to yourself Don’t Curse or make rude remarks Shout or scream Touch/grab, kick/trip, book check, kiss/hug, throw anything Be Respectful! Respect
Success in the Hallway Do Use locker at assigned times Organize your materials before entering the hallway/locker Go directly to class Don’t Stop at your locker between/during class Let your books and supplies run wild on the hallway floor Wander around
Safety in the Hallway Do Stay to the right Keep moving Walk politely Don’t Walk wherever you please Stop to chat or wait for friends Run, push, shove
Classroom Expectations
Respect in the Classroom Do Listen when others speak Raise your hand when you want to speak Use polite language Don’t Talk over the teacher or classmates Yell out during lessons or class discussions Curse or make rude remarks
Success in the Classroom Do Turn in all assignments Follow directions Participate and stay alert during class Don’t Neglect your work Ignore instructions Daydream or distract yourself and others
Prepared in the Classroom Do Be in your seat when the bell rings Have your materials ready Complete your homework Don’t Wander the classroom Forget pencils, books, notebooks Make excuses

Success in the Cafeteria Do Stay seated Clean up your area Raise your hand if you need to get up Don’t Roam around Leave garbage behind Get in line or go to vending machines or bathroom without teacher permission
Prepared in the Cafeteria Do Have your lunch or money Bring single dollar bills for vending machines Don’t Beg for food or change Pretend that you’re Mr. Moneybags and bring your $50 bills
