HAYA Part 4
Keep our HAYA level high
HOW
The Prophet (pbuh) said: “Haya and Imaan are two companions that go together. If one of them is lifted, the other is also lifted” (Haakim)
Haya & Eeman are Directly Proportional
To increase our Eeman We MUST hang on tight to the “Rope of Allah”
Haya with ALLAH
The Prophet (PBUH) said Do Haya with Allah, like it is His right. Protect your thoughts and protect your stomachs (do not have haram) and remember what will happen after you die. Whoever does all this, has fulfilled Allah’s right of Haya. (Tirmidhi)
We should feel ashamed to have Allah see us doing - or hear us saying - something that displeases Him especially when we are alone
See no evil Hear no evil Speak no evil
… surely Allah is Ever an All-Watcher over you. (Surah An-Nisa, Ayat 1)
Can we keep Allah Out? Allah
It is all “Allah’s Land”

HAYA with Parents
And your Rabb has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them “ Uff ” nor shout at them but address them in terms of honour. (Surah Bani Israel 17: Verse 23)
Bart Cannot be our role model in how to behave with our parents
Learn From… The Prophet (PBUH) Our Elders
Haya with parents Similar to Haya with Allah Do not talk back to them Do not crib about them to your friends Listen to them Do not be disrespectful in any way Do not be smarty pants with them Do not be dishonest with them
