He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground, your grain and your wine and your oil, the increase of your herds and the young of your flock, in the land that he swore to your fathers to give you. The Coming King Israel had a long history with a King The people of Israel demanded a King

But the thing displeased Samuel when they said, “Give us a king to judge us.” And Samuel prayed to the L ORD. 7 And the L ORD said to Samuel, “Obey the voice of the people in all that they say to you, for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected me from being king over them. 8 According to all the deeds that they have done, from the day I brought them up out of Egypt even to this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are also doing to you.

9 Now then, obey their voice; only you shall solemnly warn them and show them the ways of the king who shall reign over them.” 1 Samuel 8:6-9 (ESV) 1 Samuel 8:6-9 (ESV)

“Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture!” declares the L ORD Therefore thus says the L ORD, the God of Israel, concerning the shepherds who care for my people: “You have scattered my flock and have driven them away, and you have not attended to them. Behold, I will attend to you for your evil deeds, declares the L ORD. 3 Then I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the countries where I have driven them, and I will bring them back to their fold, and they shall be fruitful and multiply.

I will set shepherds over them who will care for them, and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall any be missing, declares the L ORD. The King and Us

We need to realize the mission of God.

The King and Us We need to realize the mission of God. We should be careful to realize that God’s plans may not fit into our own political agendas.
