Youtube eBay Facebook What makes them significant?

When did marketing as a practice come about? Why? What was it designed to do initially? What did marketing focus on after WW 2? What do you think the practice of marketing has been concerned with since about the 1970s most? What has been driving the latest innovative push in marketing starting in the early 1990s? What did this event do to marketing? What did the Web 1.0 bring to marketing?

Answer these questions: In one sentence: what is wikinomics? Is the logic of wikinomics limited to digital products? Is wikinomics about production or consumption? What does the “Tom Peters is the world's greatest accordion player” example attempt to exemplify? What does the “there is a different definition of wikinomics on wikipedia than I would use” statement signify? How can we understand the statement that “social networking or user-generated media [is] just the tip of the iceberg”?

What book genres do you expect to be transformed most radically by the emerging WikiLibrary? Why? In Kelley’s opinion, what will be the most important marketing implications of the digital library? What do you think are the cultural and social implications of a world where everything is connected to everything else “with a billion new connections”?
