This presentation would be used during a lesson about Alberti’s concept about historia during the Italian Renaissance. Masaccio's paintings exemplify the concept of historia. I would talk through the four important concepts of historia while analyzing The Tribute Money, and have students in groups or interpedently analyze the other two painting images. After these activities were completed, we would watch the YouTube clip from the “Age of Medici” where Alberti discusses Masaccio’s work.
