Tasmanian Devils are nocturnal so they sleep during the day and hunt at night. The Tasmanian devil is very vicious and bad tempered, if bothered it can unleash havoc and shred through almost anything with its extremely powerful jaws.

Tasmanian Devils live in Tasmanian in any types of forests. Devils can have up to 3 dens. Those dens can be 20 kilometers apart from each other. Devils also live in safe and unoccupied locations with a shelter.

1. Wild Tasmanian Devils are only found in Tasmanian. 2. Tasmanian Devils eyesight is better in the dark. 3. Tasmanian Devils can weigh up to 12 kg. 4. Tasmanian Devils can grow to inches in length. 5. Now Tasmanian Devils are endangered by a cancer called Devil Facial Tumor Disease. 6. Tasmanian Devils shelter in caves or bushes. 7. A mother Tasmanian Devil can have up to 50 joeys. 8. When angry a Tasmanian Devils ears turn Red and pointy. 9. Tasmanian Devils eat any animal body they find. 10. They feed on anything from wallabies to lizards.

The Tasmanian devil has recently been classified as endangered. The Tasmanian devil is dangerous if harmed as it carries a disease called Devil Facial Tumor Disease. There is no definite cure yet but scientists have found a potential vaccine which is going through tests. If put in zoos or areas less close to roads or civilization they would not be endangered and would not be as harmful. A major cause of death to Tasmanian Devils is on our roads, many devils have been run over by vehicles. We need to find wild Tasmanian Devils and accommodate them in a better environment to lower the risk of death to devils. Road companies should lower the speed limit of Devil infested areas from dusk to dawn since they are nocturnal (hunt, scavenge and roam around in the night). The Tasmanian Devils also make a big contribution because they clean up road kill and carrion. Tasmanian Devils have to be cared for because Devil Facial Tumor Disease is highly contagious. This terrible disease unable the victim to eat. To conclude I think all animals big or small have the right to live freely and so does The Tasmanian Devil. Yours sincerely, Julian Rossello
