How To Log-On USERNAME: your last name, followed by the first letter of your first name, followed by the first letter of your middle name, followed by the month, and last 2 digits of the year you were born EXAMPLE : McCormackIG PASSWORD: Your lunch number (also located on the print out of your schedule) It is usually 4 digits

How to Find Your H Drive Click on the START MENU on the bottom left hand side of your screen Click on COMPUTER, located to the right Scroll down and find your student drive (it will have your username on it) Double click on your H drive to open it Double click on NEW FOLDER and title it Digital Art

How to Open a Word Document Look for Microsoft Word Icon, located on your desktop OR OR Click on the start menu and type in Microsoft Word in the SEARCH BAR Double click the Word Icon to open up a blank document

How to Start Binder Cover Add your text first (First name, last name, Digital Art, Period number, what day A or B, and your computer number) Then choose a FONT that you like, make sure it is easy to read Choose a FONT SIZE, make it 32 or larger Add CLIP ART or SHAPES Add BORDERS or WATERMARKS Change the COLOR of your BACKGROUND or FONT

Your Art Binder Cover Must HAVE: –Your Name –Clip Art –Digital Art: Period # and A or B –Computer Number –You may want to include borders or word art. –Save as Lastname_bindercover in your Digital Art folder, on your student H drive.

Helpful Hints  Click on the INSERT tab on the top tool bar for CLIP ART, SHAPES, and WORD ART  Click on the PAGE LAYOUT tab for BORDERS, WATERMARKS, and BACKGROUND COLOR

Important Reminder Be sure to create a folder on your H Drive called Digital Art Save in the folder with lastname_ project name Be sure to log off of your computer before leaving.
