Energy Needs 1. The amount of energy supplies now compared with the past 2. The change in 1970s 3. Ways energy is needed in one day for me and ; other possible energy needs

1.The amount of energy supplies now compared with the past We have 4 main sources of energy supply: a)coal b)oil c)gas d)nuclear

-in early 1900, the energy supply was below Jyr -1 -until 1975, the energy supply increase sharply to Jyr -1 -and the number keeps increasing steadily -it is estimated in 2050, the number will reach 10

2) The change in 1970 In 1973, the OPEC refused to export oil to western nations friendly to Israel after the started of Arab-Israeli War → the price for oil rose up sharply → new search for energy

3) Ways energy is needed in one day for me 3) Ways energy is needed in one day for me In school day: batteries for alarm clock lights Microwave oven cooking stove water boiling machine computer water heater washing machine Fan Fridge TV Cooker Telephone etc.

Other possible energy needs Media player Transportations Machines in different industries Communications Indoors Air- conditioning Educational tools Medical equipment More electrical appliances Stoves in restaurant Fuels etc
