James Randi’s Translation Beasts mad with hunger will swim across rivers, Most of the army will be against the Lower Danube. The great one shall be dragged in an iron cage When the child brother will observe nothing.

As you can see, the second one doesn’t sound like WWII at all There is absolutely no reason to believe that this passage matches up with Hitler Especially with the first passage, the reading could match up with any evil ruler “Hister” is a geographic region. Randi did not assume that meant Hitler, rather he translated it verbatim Nostradamus couched his "prophetic" verses in such obscure language that the words can be, and have been, interpreted to mean virtually anything (Emery)
