IMPLEMENTING 4 TH AND 5 TH GRADE DIBELS PEERS Group Paulding Elementary School

DIBELS Research has shown that Dibel’s is a concrete assessment for documenting a student’s oral reading fluency. Fluency has been proven to affect comprehension.

Planning Meeting This is the 1 st year for DIBELs testing in the 4 th and 5 th grades.

All of the student data was entered into the DIBELs website.

IMPACT ON STUDENTS We will measure the impact on the students by comparing the graphs of the students scores in 4 th and 5 th grade and sharing with students, parents, and administrators.

STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT We as educators and co-workers will be able to adjust our teaching strategies to improve student performance.

The students were also tested in STAR Reading
