National Diabetes Education Program NDEP A joint program of NIH and CDC The National Diabetes Education Program The National Diabetes Education Program (NDEP) –is a federally-sponsored initiative that involves public and private partners in its efforts to combat diabetes –NDEP works to improve diabetes management and outcomes, promote early diagnoses, and prevent or delay the onset of diabetes in the United States and its territories.

National Diabetes Education Program NDEP A joint program of NIH and CDC NDEP’s AIAN Stakeholder Group The American Indian/Alaska Native Stakeholder Group participants – have a common interest in addressing diabetes prevention and control for all Native communities. –Members share resources and collaborate with NDEP to develop, disseminate, and promote NDEP’s evidence-based materials to reach American Indian and Alaska Native Peoples.
