Estimated Area brought under Irrigation (Ha.) (c) Strategy Adopted by State for Site Specific Activities Average rainfall of the state is fairly high (1327 MM). For conservation and its utilization of runoff water rainwater harvesting structures are being constructed under site specific activity. Site selection is done with the consent of gram panchayat / Zila panchayat are authorized to accord administrative sanction upto 20 lakh. Procurement in Minimum Support Price (Paddy) (d) Procurement and Storage Procurement arrangement for kharif marketing season, 2014 State Govt. has made adequate arrangement to procure paddy from farmers at minimum support price through 1,976 centers across the state. Online monitoring system and same day payment through cheque have been ensured.
