Building the Baseball Dream in Port Orange!

The Situation Every year nearly 400 boys (tee ball to 12 years old) play Port Orange Recreational Baseball. Every year our Port Orange Recreation Baseball program graduates about 40 players from our 12 year old division. Those boys have 2 choices, play in another city, or do not play baseball at all. Every year Port Orange misses out on teenager recreation baseball practices and games.  480 games and 1200 practices since losing a field Every year Port Orange misses out on teenager baseball tournament revenue and overnight stays. According to councilman Don Burnette “We have done an outstanding job of disservicing our youth.” It is time for change!

Who We Are The Port Orange Baseball club is a local non-profit organization dedicated to offering the opportunity for our youth baseball players to improve their skills. Our club currently has more than 40 players ranging in age from 7 to 14 years old all of which share the common goal to compete at the highest level of travel baseball in central Florida. Our organization provides a safe and productive environment that enables children to learn and apply the principles of teamwork, discipline, dedication, and sportsmanship. Participation in our teams is open to all boys and girls in the greater Port Orange area. We are sustained by the efforts of volunteers who display an extraordinary amount of commitment and hard work, ensuring that our team is a positive influence in the lives of our children.

The Opportunity We have recently come to an agreement with the City of Port Orange to upgrade the fields at the Spruce Creek Recreational Facility to meet the standards required for 13 year olds and up to play baseball. While the city has approved a budget for the project, the final bid came in over budget due to the cost of upgrading the current field lighting system. A private donor has generously offered $100,000 if we can raise the additional $80,000 needed. Through hard work and generous contractors, the Port orange Baseball Club has secured $40,000 in construction in-kind services. As a sponsor-partner with us, your organization has the opportunity to help us do something great for all Port Orange youth baseball players that will last for many, many years!

We Need Your Help With a donation of $30,000 (MVP) :  Your business will receive naming rights to one of two fields.  You will be featured in a newspaper article.  Your business name will be permanently mounted on our Hall of Fame memorial attached to the Concession Stand.  Your business or organization will receive two (2)10x5ft. banners at our facility identifying you as a sponsor of our club for a 3 year term.  Your logo will appear on all of our traveling team banners, our website, as well as links to your business or site on our Facebook page. With a donation of $10,000 (Hall of Fame):  Your business name will be permanently mounted on our Hall of Fame memorial attached to the Concession Stand.  Your business will receive prominent mention in a newspaper article.  Your business or organization will receive a one (1)10x5ft. banner at our facility identifying you as a sponsor of our club for a 3 year term.  Your logo will appear on all of our traveling team banners, our website, as well as links to your business or site on our Facebook page. With a donation of $5,000 (Grand Slam):  Your business name will be permanently mounted on our Hall of Fame memorial attached to the Concession Stand  Your business or organization will receive one (1) 5x5ft. banner at our facility identifying you as a sponsor of our club for a 2 year term  Your logo will appear on all of our traveling team banners, our website, as well as links to your business or site on our Facebook page.

With a donation of $1,000 (Fan):  Your business or organization will receive a 5x5ft. banner at our facility identifying you as a sponsor of our club for a 1 year term  Your logo will appear on all of our traveling team banners, our website, as well as links to your business or site on our Facebook page.
