The Beech Centre and the RHN- CSR Partnership

The Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability (RHN) The RHN is an independent medical charity founded in 1854 in Putney, London that provides rehabilitation and long-term care to people with complex neurological disabilities caused by damage to the brain or other parts of the nervous system. Find out more about The RHN at

Since selecting the RHN as its CSR partner in 2013, The Beech Centre has held fundraising events…

In July 2013 The Beech Centre’s Performance and Organisational Development Consultant Chris Malings cycled from Whitehaven to Sunderland in a day (a journey of 140 miles at 14,000 ft) which raised £600 for The RHN!

In June 2014 The Beech Centre team worked together to re-build a section of the Cleveland Way Trail at North York Moors National Park over the course of a day. The team set themselves a target of re-building 50 metres of pathway and finished the day having re-built 80 metres of pathway and having raised over £1100 for The RHN!

In November 2014 The Beech Centre team headed down to Putney, London to donate a day of our time renovating a family accommodation cottage at The RHN. We set a target of painting the walls of three bedrooms and a bathroom in the cottage within a 6 hour time frame and within 5 hours had actually completed all this plus the hall, landing, part of the stairs and the ceilings too, raising over £700 for the RHN thanks to some generous donations…

Including this generous donation from Hull Audi which allowed us to travel two and from Putney in style!!!

Our fundraising activities have contributed £2400 in cash donations to the RHN

Additionally we have committed over 100 consultancy days and resources…

Helping the RHN ‘flood the organisation with OD’ we have committed resources to the market value of £224,000…

The RHN’s charitable discount day rate will save them £293,000

Meaning that The Beech Centre has delivered in excess of £520,000 of value to The RHN through our CSR partnership!!!

But we can still do more…and we need your help!!!

There are plenty of ways you can help us to make a difference to the lives of those who benefit from The RHN’s care!

Ways to donate… Visit our Just Giving page:

Ways to donate… Or send a text: Send BEEC97 plus your donation amount to 70070

Give us your ideas… Can you think of a great way we can spend our next CSR day raising funds for The RHN? Maybe you or members of your organisation would like to accompany us on our next CSR adventure? Speak to us today!

Please help us to raise as much as we can for the RHN. Being generous with your time and money will make a substantial difference to all those whose lives are affected by the RHN’s care
