Vital element of success between the client and the case manager is how case management is handled. It would need four years to learn formal education; however, the expertise on mental health, substance abuse and social work are factors that would dictate such success. This would entail one to undergo training courses on being a case manager. Thus, the profession of being a case manager is a difficult yet rewarding profession. Imagine, how can one comfort a client while trying to confront him with the reality of the situation? Most cases that a case manager is faced with, has to do with this kind of motivation, and some cases even has to deal with intense and emotionally disturbed scenarios. In the next slide, you will be presented with true scenarios coming from case workers who have helped us to determine what it takes to become a successful case manager.
