2 LDC borstplätering Tel: LDC Portable Electroplating 1.Cold process: Used at room temperature, no stress or adjustments because of termal distorsion. 2.To tolerance: Normally no machining required 3.Quick metal build-up: 0,05 mm in min. 4.Plating: On all conductive materials, cast iron, stainless, mild steel, copper, chrome etc 5.Dense deposits: No or very little porosity in most coatings 6.Many differens metals: Nickel, Gold, Silver, Copper, Cobolt, Zinc and alloys. 7.Excellent bonding: molecular bonding results in very god adhesion, all coatings can be machined, grinded or polished. 8.Mobile equipment: The repair can be done on site

4 LDC Brushplating Tel: Platform in North sea with damaged sealing areas in the blowout preventers.
5 LDC Brushplating Tel: The sealing areas around the ball valve is corroded.
6 LDC Brushplating Tel: Corroded sealing area in a blowout preventer is being brush plated with a hard copper of 250Hb.
7 LDC Brushplating Tel: The surface is now brushplated with copper and with an thickness about 2mm.
8 LDC Brushplating Tel: The surface is now mashined just to undersize to get the space for the final hard Nickel layer with an hardness of 58 HrC.
9 LDC Brushplating Tel: Now is the final Nickel layer in process.
10 LDC Brushplating Tel: After the Nickel plating is done no more mashining is required and the blowout preventer is ready for assembly.
11 LDC Brushplating Tel: Damaged hydralic shafts on a drilltover in the Nort Sea was repaired onsite.
12 LDC Brushplating Tel: An 10 meters long hydralic piston is damaged.
11 LDC Brushplating Tel: Damaged area on the piston was about 6 meters long and up to 4 mm deep.
14 LDC Brushplating Tel: All shar edges is to be grinded out. After that an hard copper of 250 Brinell is to be plated in the deep areas.
15 LDC Brushplating Tel: Then the Copper layer is grinded back to original size we put an new Hard Chrome layer is plated on top. Then after that just some polishing.
16 LDC borstplätering Tel: See you onsite. Best Regards LDC Brushplating
