1. Become a Student You will login to the Student Portal and take an online test

Login to the Student Portal You will become the student on the label to take the test Login to the site on the label Select the Student tab Username is the first number on the label Password is 123456

Take an Online Test Test consists of 10 questions using various question types. See if you can identify the different types… To begin test, click on SDUSD Online Testing SAMPLE on right side

Test Results Notes on students viewing scores at end of test Constructed Response Items will not be part of score at end of test Make CR items extra credit (show where) –OR- Inform students that score is only showing non CR items

2. Grading Constructed Responses

Grading Constructed Response Items Handout – Grading Constructed Response Items Go to: Responses > Enter/Edit TIP: Select view students with data Grid option shows question & rubric scoring guide

3. Create an Itembank Assessment

Notes Handout: Create an Itembank Assessment Cheat Sheet Standard Types to Use: Common Core State Standards –OR- California Content Standards Expand All Select items from lowest branch to view reports by standard Use the INSPECT item bank Click Return to Illuminate upon completion of creating the test

Login to Illuminate to create test: sdusd. illuminateed Login to Illuminate to create test: sdusd.illuminateed.com or go to sandi.net > staff > applications > illuminate then click here on the OVERVIEW page

4. Setting Up Your Online Test for Student Administration
