PLANTS AROUND US

 There are different kinds of plants around us.  They vary in size, shape, colour, smell, place of growth etc.  On the basis of their size and types of stem, plants can be classified into these following categories : - Trees Herbs Shrubs Climbers Creepers

Plants come in different SHAPES and SIZES TreeHerb Shrub

TREES Trees are big in size. They have thick, strong and woody stem called Trunks. Examples of trees are:- neem, pine, mango, peepal, banyan, etc.

NEEM MANGOPINE PEEPALBANYAN

SHRUBS Shrubs are plants of medium height. They are highly branched from the base of the stem itself. Examples of Shrubs are:- rose, hibiscus, jasmine, tulsi, etc.

ROSE JASMINE TULSI HIBISCUS

HERBS Herbs are small in size. They are soft, tender and green stems. Examples of herbs are:- grasses, spinach, coriander, mustard etc.

GRASS SPINACH MUSTARD CORIANDER

This is a Garden in which we see Trees, Herbs, Shrubs.
