Honors Physics 5 Oct 2009 Today: – Discuss student notebooks – Quick determination of g in Lansdowne – Handout Graphical Analysis Lab Homework: review notebooks, complete any assignments you have begun

Notebooks Generally notes taken from the board are good – 90% thorough Homework – try every problem, put your thoughts if you can’t put an answer Please date and title your sections Most work needed: your own notes – thoughts and questions – connections to past work – evidence of review at home (looking over class notes – modifying – fixing)

Quick determination of g Tools: meter stick, stop watch, calculator, metal ball, small box, equation # 3 (reduced) In groups of 4 (by table) – head out to the stair case at the right, Figure out how to determine the drop distance, and how to accurately time the drop.
