Taxes and Protest War was EXPENSIVE!!-They needed a way to pay for it They decided that the people should pay taxes!! Have you heard of paying taxes? You all do it!!

The stamp Act The first taxes was on paper and stamps Then on tea-they loved tea!! –But the people were ticked!!! –They secretly jumped on board their ship and dumped loads of expensive tea overboard!! BOSTON TEA PARTY-but it was NO party 

Road to War! Great Britain wanted to punish the people for dumping the tea They had to pay for it!!-they closed jobs and couldn’t go into the hard until it was paid for! But they did not pay! That made the British sooo angry!!
