You will need to contact DEC after viewing all modules to receive a quiz. It all depends on the computer system setup that you are using. 5.REMEMBER to refer to the License Issuance Handbook for further information on Business Rules.

MODULE 7: OBJECTIVES Upon completion of this module the Agent will: Replace license and/or tags for customers Department of Environmental Conservation 5
BUSINESS Replaced tags get a new document number. All tags that have been replaced are invalid There is a $5 fee for replacing a privilege panel There is a $10 fee for replacing one or all Carcass Tags. Any additional carcass tag replacements will incur additional $10 fees There is NO CHARGE to replace a back tag or a Marine Registry When replacing a Carcass tag, the Agent MUST have the Customer complete and sign the Carcass Tag Replacement Form. The Agent must keep this on file for a minimum of 3 years (The Carcass Tag Replacement form is available through the Agent Help Link) Department of Environmental Conservation 6
CHOOSE AN ACTIVITY Department of Environmental Conservation 7 Select Click Be sure to Locate a Customer and verify all information. (See Module 3)
VERIFY APPLICANT DETAILS Department of Environmental Conservation 8 Verify the Applicant Details and if correct, click Continue. Click
SELECT DOCUMENTS TO REPLACE Department of Environmental Conservation 9 Select document(s) to replace (Select the checkbox) Click
SELECT DOCUMENTS TO REPLACE Department of Environmental Conservation 10 Click Select Change the NO radio button to YES
VERIFY DOCUMENTS STATUS Department of Environmental Conservation 11 Verify that the status of all the licenses &/or tags you wish to replace have changed to YES (do not select the checkbox) Click Select Payment type
APPLICATION REVIEW Department of Environmental Conservation 12 Click Edit button The Application Review Page shows the Agent every possible choice that could have been made in this Customer’s profile. Agents can review by floating their mouse over the different sections. License Sales suggests that you continue past this page to the Pay Fees page where you will be able to review the exact items the Customer wants to purchase along with their total fees. Full screen view Continue button Use “breadcrumbs” to navigate! Do NOT hit the browser BACK button
PAY FEES Department of Environmental Conservation 13 Click Review all the items and fees with the Customer and collect the total fees before hitting continue. By clicking Continue you will commit the sale to the system. COLLECT fees BEFORE continuing!
LICENSE ISSUANCE Department of Environmental Conservation 14 A successful License Issuance screen will display. The Agent will now Click the Print Tag button to print the Customer’s license and tags. At this screen the sales process is complete. Print/View Receipt – used to print receipts if needed. All information on the receipt is on your daily sales report. The Customer’s receipt is their license. This receipt will print to your regular 8 ½ x 11 paper printer. After collecting all fees and clicking continue a successful License Issuance screen will display. The Agent will now “Click the Print Tag” button to print the license’s &/or tags the Customer wanted to replace. At this screen the sale of the replacement license’s &/or tags have been committed to the system.
