Bayeux Tapestry Project Your task is to recreate the story of the Norman Conquest of England in 1066 by Duke William. Your primary source is a tapestry. You may work with a partner or individually*. 1.You need: A packet of 12 pictures and 12 captions An Internet link to the Reading Museum, whose exhibit tells the full story. A piece of construction paper, scissors, glue stick. 2.Cut out the picture frames and captions and using the museum’s resources paste these elements to tell the story of this historical event. 3.Pass in your correct (abridged) version while meeting the specified deadline – Monday, beginning of class, 2/11. *For individual work or if you make a mistake with materials provided, you can download your own from the Reading Museum’s website
