LOST-FOR-GOOD ALWAYS-A-SHARE Customers are tied to a system. Switching costs may include: Specific investments Cancellation penalties Setup costs for a new supplier Retraining Finding/Evaluating a new supplier Customers can allocate their purchases to several vendors.
