Presentation transcript:

What is a web-based lesson? It is a lesson that is developed and placed on the internet. It uses the web as the resource for information gathering. It has students working on the computer either in groups or individually.

How is a Web-based lesson different from a regular classroom lesson? It needs a much tighter construction. Steps and procedures need to be clear, logical and almost self-evident. You have to more fully anticipate possible problems and questions. Detailed planning, organization and structuring are key to a successful web lesson.

What are the benefits of a Web-based lesson? It develops and enhances student technology skills. There is direct and immediate access to the information needed. Students can revisit the lesson at anytime. The lessons are student-centered, where the teachers act as coaches or facilitators.
