A benevolent event, sponsored by many people, aiming to benefit the society at large, constitutes a Satram. What is Satram?

Anna Vastra Daana Satram Rice and Clothing (along with sweets) are distributed to needy families. Jointly organized by Narayanashrama Tapovanam and Hind Navotthana Pratishtan. More than families benefitted from AVDS in AVDS started in 1985

Tokens are distributed in advance to recipients.

Bed sheets and Sarees arrive a few days in advance.

Daana Swamiji Daana purifies and sanctifies one’s wealth however meagre or huge it may be. It preserves wealth by fostering generosity. It begets a blessing that passes on to the ensuing generations. It is the giver who should feel grateful that there are people to receive his charity.

Daana awareness instilled in countless men and women the world over, enriches the society with fellow-feeling and long-term harmony. Swamiji Volunteers participate in every aspect of the Satram.

Distribution is carried out in an orderly manner.

Such noble activities can be undertaken only with hearty support and participation from like-minded well-wishers. Offerings may be made through MO/cheque/DD in favour of “Narayanashrama Tapovanam” or “Hind Navotthana Pratishtan”. Donations to Narayanashrama Tapovanam & Hind Navotthana Pratishtan are eligible for exemption under 80G of the Income Tax Act.
