Class 4’s Tanka Poems In Class 4, we have been reading and writing different forms of poetry, including a type called Tanka poems. These are poems that have five lines and follow a clear syllable pattern. We have written our own Tanka poems about one of the seasons. Wonky gigantic trees drooping in the winter cold frost. Shivering children with rosy red cheeks playing in blankets of snow. By Ben M
