 Turn off the lights when you leave the room  all light bulbs => energy saving lamps

 Phone: ◦ lowest brightness ◦ wifi, bluetooth and GPS off ◦ =>Less charging  Turn devise completely off

- Turn off the tap when washing your teeth - Take a shower not a bath - Scrape dishes rather than rinsing them before washing

 Let them visit dumps so they know the problem  All bins (bottles, paper, fruit,…) together so if you go to the bin you have the right one  More projects with shocking pictures  Let them count the trash they have trown away ……

Saving water at home

 Problem 1: The tap is running when we don’t use it. ◦ You’re washing the dishes under a running tap.  Solution: Close the tap when you aren’t actually using it.

 Problem 2: We’re using the dishwasher for only a few dirty dishes.  Solution: Wait until you have a full load of dishes before you use the dishwasher.

 Problem 1: For a bath, you use 100 liters of water, for a shower only 30 liters.  Solution: Take a shower instead of a bath.  Take shorter showers.

 Problem 2: It takes a while for the water to get to the right temperature.  Solution: You can collect the hot/cold water and use it later.
