 Hannibal is a city in Missouri  Located in the counties of Marion and Ralls  At the intersection of Interstate 72 and U.S. Routes 24, 36 and 61

 located at 39°42 ′ 15 ″ N 91°22 ′ 39 ″ W  total area of square miles  square miles of land  0.47 square miles of water

 Once was occupied by early Native tribes.  Laid out by Moses Bates in 1819  Access to Mississippi greatly increased population from 30 in 1830 to 2,020 in  Officially deemed a city in 1845
