2010 Resident Scholarship Recipient Josh Foley Osceola, Missouri

Josh Foley Josh is the resident recipient for 2010 of a $2000 scholarship. He attends Osceola High School and plans to attend University of Missouri at Columbia. He has been accepted into their ROTC program. He plans to become an officer in the United States Air Force. He will be pursing the engineering and medical fields.

Rachel is the dependent recipient for 2010 of a $2000 scholarship. She is currently attending Mineral Area College pursing a degree in the Nursing field. She has been invited to join Phi Thetta Kappa Sorority. She has also been on the Deans List and attends Honor Classes.

In Memoriam 2010 MHAPCI honors the memory of William C Pollock, son of Allen and Patty Pollock, with a donation to the Missouri NAHRO Scholarship fund. MHAPCI honors the memory of Betty Jo DeVerger, Executive Director of the Vandalia and Bowling Green Housing Authority.

Missouri NAHRO Recognizes Contributions to Scholarship Fund Missouri Housing Authorities Property and Casualty Insurance Company made contributions to our scholarship fund in As a token of their respect in memoriam and honoring members of Missouri NAHRO. MONAHRO extends our appreciation of their sincere consideration for these contributions.

MHAPCI Salutes Joyce Short, retiring Board Member of MHAPCI and Executive Director of the Noel Housing Authority. To acknowledge and thank Joyce for her dedication and many contributions to MHAPCI and the people of Missouri, a contribution to the scholarship fund is made in her honor.

The Missouri Chapter of NAHRO is pleased to announce that our 2011 Scholarship awards will be increased to $6000 with additional 2/$1000 awards available for renewals to the previous year's recipients if they meet the guidelines. Additional funds will be available from the 50/50 Raffle that the Scholarship Committee sponsors. The number and amount of these awards will be determined by the amount of money raised. A big Thank You to MHAPCI for all their support and their matching contribution each year to the Scholarship Program. Their contribution for 2011 will be $3000. The Scholarship Committee raised $225 from the 50/50 Raffle and donations from MONAHRO members giving a total or $525 available for the Alternate Scholarships.
