THE CHEFS MOVE TO SCHOOLS program, founded in May 2010, is an integral part of First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! initiative to raise a healthier generation of kids. Chefs have a critical role to play in reversing and preventing childhood obesity, and Let’s Move! invites them to use their expertise to help kids achieve the long, healthy lives they deserve. The Chefs Move to Schools website provides a platform for chefs and schools to create partnerships in their communities with the mission of collaboratively educating kids about food and healthy eating.
