Course Text Learning Focused School –This course will be taught based on the Common Core State Standards. Each unit will be guided with a Student Learning Map and unit resources containing guided notes, examples, and practice material throughout the year.

Syllabus If you haven’t seen it (hopefully you did)….please ask for one!! Materials Needed: Notebook, paper, pencils/legible pens, dry erase marker, calculator (suggested), book to read

Grading Policy PRODUCT: 60% PROCESS: 40% Test ………………around100 pts (Product) Final……. Around points (Product) Quiz…………… Around 50 pts (Process) Homework ……………...2pts/per (Process) Exit Tickets…………….vary (Process) Basic Skills………………5pts/per (Process)

Assignments You should expect to have extensions (homework) from this class each night. No late homework is accepted. If you are absent from class….. Upcoming absence….. It is the student’s responsibility to find out what you missed and turn it in for credit. It is the student’s responsibility to show me the work at an appropriate time.

Test/Quizzes If you are absent on the day of a test or quiz… There may be times when students are given the opportunity to make quiz corrections.
