Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) Foldable Directions 10/16/2014

Step 1 Glue small wavelength across bottom of flaps. LONG  short wavelength

Step 2 Write the names of all the types of EM waves from Radio to Gamma Rays. (In order of long  short wavelength)

outside flaps Radiowaves Microwaves Infrared Rays Visible Light Ultraviolet Rays X-rays Gamma Rays

Fold on the BOLD solid line. Cut along the horizontal lines. Only cut up to BOLD line!

Two (2) uses of that wave Two (2) sources of that wave (emitted from) Harmful effect(s) from that wave Wavelength Two (2) COLORED graphics – (can be hand drawn or printed at home) Neatness, effort, and color on all flaps counts as well!!

10/16/2014 Out ?:P.58 Why are gamma rays more dangerous to humans than radio waves? Justify your answer.
