School to Review: 1.Student attrition – SY student count versus SY student count. 2.Funding received from: 15% ISEP, SY 2012 Carry-over and Current Part B funds/allocation received for SY Coordinated Early Intervening Services (CEIS) Up to 15% of Part B funds to general education 4.Assess the information and determine whether to apply for Unmet Needs
Native Star – Docs & Links tab Complete and sign application by school administrator, business manager and Special Education coordinator/Head teacher. Attached with Student list with NASIS # numbers only with Priority 1 or 2. Save and upload into Native Star file cabinet –IDEA Part B SY ◦ Label file as : SchoolName_PtB Unmet Needs App_SY13-14 Due Friday in September 13, 2013
Review the application Compare student count data from SY and student count the school provides. Evaluate all funds the schools has received. Review all IEP’s in NASIS (current and locked) Read and review Unique Circumstances Notify schools of results and submit FDD request
