Are Organized sports programs beneficial to children in developing countries? By: Robby Stubbs

Children's Health Increased physical fitness improves childrens resistance to many diseases that are inflicted on their communities. Sports make children better physically fit and requires checkups from doctors. Spreads awareness for treatment for those children in need. Benefit mental health as they gain friends and learn social skills through sports.

Education Teaches children moral and values. Sports deliver educational messages. College opportunities. Teaches children how to handle situations rationally. Teaches them to have confidence and express themselves in a constructive way. Teaches the importance of depending on each other through teamwork.

Community benefits Sports programs can benefit the whole community by bring it together through the love of sports and shared interest. Relieves tension of the struggles in their everyday lives. Sports can bring recognition to a country through its players.
