Why we love our jobs!

How I got my role: Lucy Interested in studying the environment since high school. Studied Environmental Science as one of my AS and subsequently A-level subjects. Then went on to study BSc Environmental Science as my degree at Newcastle University. Brief work in a consultancy 6 month project placement in Newcastle University’s Sustainability Team. My contract was subsequently extended and then I successfully attained a permanent position as Sustainability Officer.

How I got my role: Hannah Interest in environment/sustainability issues Studied BSc Environmental Science at Newcastle University Realised through volunteer work that my interest was on the engagement and social side of Sustainability Worked in admin at the University to gain professional skills Joined the team in 2009 as Sustainability Support Officer
